Welder
Job Description:
- Perform welding operations to assemble metal components according to technical specifications and blueprints
- Prepare and align parts for welding, ensuring proper fit and measurements
- Operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders, safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure they meet industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in welding or relevant experience in the field
- Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME)
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to work in a multi-shift operation
