Position: Machine Operator (Excavator Operator)

Job Description:

  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation and earth-moving tasks
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery
  • Read and interpret site plans and specifications
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Communicate with site supervisors and other team members
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed

Requirements:

  • Certified excavator operator with relevant qualifications
  • Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment
  • Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
