Position: Construction Mason
Job Description:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building materials
- Construct and repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures
- Read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Mix and apply mortar or other bonding agents
- Ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of masonry work
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on masonry structures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mason in construction
- Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in masonry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and precision in work
Team Leader Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of masons
- Plan and allocate tasks, ensuring efficient workflow
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and building regulations
- Conduct quality checks on completed work
